Dance with us!

As part of our new collaboration project "Dance with us!", we aim to actively inspire young people from elementary school age for dance. On scheduled dates, our Dance with us! educators visit local schools and bring their special knowledge with them. In groups, students are creatively introduced to body awareness, forms of movement, and the fun of dance. This initiative is supported by the Playmobil Children's Foundation and the Foundation for the Promotion of the Hamburg State Opera.

Ballet Patron Classes

What is the daily life of a ballet company like? How do dancers prepare for a ballet performance? Patron classes receive exclusive insights behind the scenes of the Hamburg Ballet. The classes are introduced to the respective production before they experience the company live during a rehearsal at the State Opera.

Theater und Schule – TUSCH Hamburg

Kulturinteressierte Schulen und Hamburger Theaterbühnen miteinander vernetzen, Räume der Kreativität schaffen und spannende, innovative sowie qualitativ hochwertige Theater- und Tanzprojekte zu ermöglichen – das ist TUSCH. Ab der Spielzeit 2025/26 wird das Hamburg Ballett eine neue dreijährige Partnerschaft mit einer kooperierenden Schule beginnen.

School Performance – Wonderland

A performance by the Hamburg Ballet exclusively for school classes.

The fantastic tales of Alice take young viewers into an enchanting world, where Alice falls through the rabbit hole into a land full of talking animals, crazy adventures, and strange events. In this special performance exclusively for school classes, the Hamburg Ballet invites students to an unforgettable experience. The State Opera becomes a fairytale place when the red velvet seats are filled with bright and astonished children’s eyes!
