Following a public stage rehearsal, choreographers, ballet masters, or other members of the production team offer valuable insights into the creative and rehearsal process. They share how a particular work comes to life and highlight what audiences should pay special attention to. Often, viewers get a first glimpse of a new production even before its official premiere.
Public rehearsal begins half an hour before the start of the workshop.

Advance ticket sales for Ballet Workshops III and IV of the 2025/26 season (February 8 and May 25, 2026) and for the Nijinsky Gala LI (July 5, 2026) will begin on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
Tickets can only be purchased online via the web shop.
The online procedure allows our audience to select their preferred seats directly in the seating plan. A maximum of two tickets may be purchased per customer/household. Tickets will not be sold at the box office or by phone.
Customers who, due to personal circumstances, are unable to participate in the online sale may request tickets by post within a limited ticket allotment. Requests must arrive at the State Opera by mail no later than November 28, 2025.
